FILTER zu Gast im P40 in Hamburg befragt �Suppport Structure� 

Celine Condorelli (UK) präsentiert das Konzept von �Eastside Projects�, einen neu gegründeten experimentalen Ausstellungsraum für zeitgenössische Kunst und Kultur in Birmingham.* Der Vortrag von Celine Condorelli ist in Englisch!

Veranstaltungsort: 
P40, Alte Pathologie, Friedrichsberger Strasse, Barmbek-Süd

Anfahrt: U2 bis Hamburger Straße, dann Holsteinischer Kamp entlang bis zum Ende (ca. 500 m), dann schräg links über die Straße bis zum alten roten Backsteingebäude. 
Alternative: S 1 bis Friedrichsberg, dann durchs Krankenhaus Gelände bis Friedrichsberger Straße, auf der linken Seite liegt das alte rote Backsteingebäude 

�Suppport Structure� 
�Eastside Projects� ist ein von KünstlerInnen geführter Ort, gefördert vom Arts Council England West Midlands (ACEWM) in Verbindung mit der Birmingham City University (BCU), der sich als Inkubator von neuen Ideen und Formen kunstbezogener Aktivitäten in der Stadt Birmingham versteht. An diesem Ort wird an der Entwicklung eines neuen Typs von Ausstellungsplattform gearbeitet. �Eastside Projects� ist ein einzigartiges Beispiel eines Kunstraums, wo Design, Organisation und Architektur ein integraler Bestandteil des Programms sind. Der Galerie-Direktor Gavin Wade arbeitet mit der Architektin Celine Condorelli und dem grafischen Designer James Langdon zusammen, um eine grafische und räumliche Entwicklung im Laufe der Zeit aufrecht zu erhalten. 

Celine Condorelli ist eine Architektin mit Sitz in London. In ihrer beruflichen Praxis sieht sie die Architektur als Unterstützung und Schnittstelle, zugleich entwickelt sie kritische Modelle für die Konstruktion von Ausstellungen und die Arbeit im öffentlichen Raum. 

Wir freuen uns diese Form der Zusammenarbeit und Konzeptentwicklung insbesondere im Hinblick auf die konzeptuelle Zukunft vom P40 vorzustellen (http://www.p-40.de/projekt.html). 

Im Anschluss an diesem Vortrag laden wir zu einem kleinen Essen im P40, wo die Möglichkeit besteht zusammen mit lokal geladenen Gästen aus dem Bereich Kunst und Kultur, wie der Architektur, dem Design, aber auch der Stadtentwicklung mögliche Konzepte und Strategien für die Weiterentwicklung des P40 zu diskutieren.

�Support Structure� 

Celine Condorelli (UK) presents the idea of " Eastside Projects ", a recently opened experimental exhibition space for contemporary art and culture in Birmingham *The lecture of Celine Condorelli is in English!

5th of June 2008, 7pm

Location: 
P40, Alte Pathologie, Friedrichsberger Strasse, Barmbek-Süd

Directions: U2 until Hamburger Strasse, then take Holsteinischer Kamp until the end (ca. 500 m), then cross the street to the left unti the old red bricklike building.
Alternative: S1 until Friedrichsberg, then cross the terrain of the hospital until you reach Friedrichsberger Strasse, on your lefthand side you see an old red brick building.

�Support Structure� 
"Eastside Projects" is an organization led by artists, promoted from the Arts Council England West Midlands (ACEWM) in connection with the Birmingham City University (BCU), which understands itself as an incubator of new ideas and forms of art related activities in the city of Birmingham and beyond. At this place it is worked on the development of a new type of exhibition platform, a complex, developing program with reference to radical historic positions and a gallery space specific identity. The gallery manager Gavin Wade cooperates with the architect Celine Condorelli and the graphic designer James Langdon to maintain a visual and spatial development in the course of the time.

Celine Condorelli is a London-based architect, whose practice is concerned with architecture as support and interface, developing critical models towards exhibition making and public space. Support Structure is an evolving collaborative project between architect Celine Condorelli and artist-curator Gavin Wade. 

We are looking forward to present this form of co-operation and conceptual development particularly in regards to the conceptual future of P40.
